UPDATE: Sergeant Julio Dietrich arrested as a part of Coup plot to overthrow the government.

GOLLANDIYA - Earlier this afternoon, Captain James Taylor of the American Command of the Arstotzkan Federal Police Service has arrested Executive Committee member Julio Dietrich, who is the party president of the National Right Alliance Party, a right wing nationalist party in the Arstotzkan Federal Government.

The party was originally known as the Arstotzkan Conservative Alliance Party. Captain James Taylor has stated along with the Chief of the Arstotzkan Federal Police Service that the American Command of the AFPS conducted a raid of Srgt. Dietrich's home in the Severoamerikansky Territory in North America. The operation known as Operation: National Security was a joint operation that was aided by the Government Protection Security Bureau (GPSB) and Military Intelligence Directorate of the State Committee for National Security and Intelligence.

The SCNSI's Chairman of Intelligence has stated that information relating to the coup was first discovered on 25 October 2022. When Srgt. Dietrich was brought up by the Internal Affairs Battalion of the Arstotzkan Army Corps for 'concerning conduct with former enemy states.' It is alleged that he met with CDGDOD (Confederate Democracy of Gamers Department of Defense) Officers as well as members of the Notable Army of Grayson Country to attempt to recruit them as a part of their organization. Which not only aimed to destroy the Arstotzkan Federal Government but to also establish a new nation state inline with what the group called, Arstotzkanist Nationalism.

The Minister of Justice this morning has delivered a statement: "Srgt. Dietrich will be the first person in Arstotzkan history to be tried under the Crimes Act for Treason against our state. The National Right Alliance Party will be dissolved and it is the wish of the First President that the party be banned for their actions."

The trial of Srgt. Dietrich is expected later this month. The First President has expressed his concern with the events but has stated he is thankful for the quick actions of the intelligence agents in our republic. The First President is expected to make a statement this week.
