PEACE ACHIEVED

GOLLANDIYA - Three days ago on September 13th of this year, the First President announced the Arstotzkan Union would formerly ratify the Treaty of Unity, Peace and Cooperation, ending the long Arstotzkan - Alliance War. The First President has also announced the formation of a new partnership between the former enemies of the Arstotzkan Union and Ward Empire. The Partnership is known as the Trans - Tauranga Micronational Partnership Agreement or the TTMPA. This will be focused at stronger trade, visa free travel and civilian protection guarantees.

Meanwhile, the State Government of the Arstotzkan Union Proper has announced they will under take an operation, they're calling "Merge and Expand". This initiative is focusing on expanding the Arstotzkan Union Proper, which has had the same boundaries since 2019, albeit with some minor expansions, however the new Arstotzkan Union Proper is expanding over a new green area, allowing for better focus on our nations agricultural activities, rather than relying on the Kivi Territory. The merge part of the initiative is to merge the State Government of the Arstotzkan Union Proper with the Government of the United Territories of the Greater Arstotzkan Union and forming the Government of the State and Territories of the Arstotzkan Union, or for short the Government of the Union.

With the expansion of the Arstotzkan Union Proper brings changes to district boundaries and the first major change in years. New Zealand Peninsula and Judea are now extinct, with the former becoming part of the Arstotzkan Capitol District and the latter part of Union Central. Three new districts have been formed, first is the Kholmistaya Tsep District (named after the Kholmistaya Tsep Hill Range), second is the New Staten Landt (named after the original Dutch name for New Zealand) and third is Southern Province. The main highways in the areas have also got an extension, State Highway 1 extends its original route but now terminates at the western-most border of the Southern Province and State Highway 2 continues its original route but extends into the new city of Region before meeting SH - 1 and terminating at the Arstotzkan Union / Ward Empire Border.

Two new towns have also been formed from this, Region in the South-West Kholmistaya Tsep District and Zeeland in the New Staten Landt district. Macroton has been moved from near Chernobyl to Southern Province.
