BREAKING - In news just released from the Chief Justice of the Supreme Federal Court, King Bendolf committed an act of treason while being a resident of the Arstotzkan Union when he was attempting to kidnap, Vice President Wesley von Dookington.
In an affidavit submitted to the Supreme Federal Court this morning, the prosecution in the awaiting trial, Arstotzkan Union v. Bendolf, King Bendolf breached Article 7, Section 2 of the Constitution while attempting to kidnap Comrade von Dookington. While no Act of Assembly has officially codified the punishment for breaching the Constitution, the Civil Protection Act 2021 enforces that residents and citizens are protected and must follow the rules of the Constitution.
While it is unclear how the trial will proceed with this, Chief Justice Ethan Brinkman is expected to deliver a very harsh sentence for Mr Bendolf as when questioned about the trial, Comrade Brinkman stated; "The Arstotzkan Union has a history of officials attacking our highest office, the Office of the Presidency. Because of this, I can assure the People of the Arstotzkan Union that a light sentence will not be delivered and fair justice will be carried out. I have all the confidence in the statements to be made by the Councillors in the trial as they seem to be well versed in the law however that is all I can say."
More information is to come over the next 9 days.
