ARSTOTZKAN CAPITOL DISTRICT - This morning the House of Representatives has announced a new members bill brought forward by the former unit Commander of the Arstotzkan Federal Guard and the First President. First President Brinkman has announced that the Arstotzkan Federal Guard needs activity and will move to becoming a new protection force known as the Arstotzkan Presidential Guard.
This new force will be dedicated to protecting the residences of the First, Second and Vice Presidents. Meanwhile the legislation creates the Arstotzkan Federal Police Service.
The new AFPS will become the main police in the Union, taking the job from the Arstotzkan Federal Guard who has acted as the police service in the Arstotzkan Union since its founding in August 2019.
In late 2019 the Federal Guard, then known as the National Guard was to participate in the first military operation by the Arstotzkan Union Defense Forces, known as Operation: Blue Shadow. The Operation was canceled before it could go ahead but since then the Federal Guard has seen little action.
With the new police service the House has announced a plan for the division of the service. The groups will be as:
Federal Police Department (For Tauranga based Territories)
Northern Police Department (For Territories on the New Zealand North Island)
Southern Police Department (For Territories on the New Zealand South Island)
American Police Department (For Territories in the United States)
The new act is expected to pass the house today and Congress tomorrow with it placed into law by the weekend.
Troops from the new APG will be arriving at the Gollandiya, Skandinaviya and Kholmistyy Rayon Territories in the coming weeks.
