ARSTOTZKAN FORCES SEIZE RAT ISLAND. TERRITORY ADMITTED INTO THE UNION

SHOTLANDIYA TERRITORY - Yesterday the Arstotzkan Naval Ship, NSS Oldtown, captained by First President Kommondant Ethan Brinkman launched a military offensive onto Rat Island.

Kmdt. Ethan Brinkman also oversaw the deployment of the 2nd Army Infantry Regiment on the island to ensure the island remains steadfast in Arstotzkan Control.

The operation was the first of its kind since Operation: Foreign Destruction in April 2021. It was also a very historical day for the Arstotzkan Naval Corps as it was the first time the Navy was used in an operation.

The First President has stated that the Arstotzkan Union will not remain in total control of the island, with a deal having been made with the Ward Empire and Empire of Him to divide the island.

Negotiations for the end of the war are expected with a meeting with Field Marshal Jake of the Empire of Benereich stating diplomacy would still be an option, however First President Ethan Brinkman has expressed his doubts following Operation: Conquest, the official name for the operation.

Operation: Conquest was also the first military operation overseen by General Samantha Johnson, Commander of the Arstotzkan Army Corps.

Although not present on the island, General Johnson remained on the mainland with the remaining Arstotzkan Army Corps Forces.
